You can integrate RPower POS with many payment processing providers. Though the company lists Vantiv as a preferred integrated processor, it clearly states that it can work with other processors as well.

RPower works directly with processing platforms or via third-party payment gateways, letting you accept major credit and debit cards, as well as cash. The company also lets customers use codes from the receipts you print to immediately pay via their smartphones, giving customers more flexibility in choosing how they want to pay.

Loyalty and Gift Card Programs

The software allows you to gather customer details so you can provide a loyalty program and discounts. It will automatically track how much they’re spending and point balances, and then allow you to apply their loyalty points towards any purchases. Track Employee Time

RPower POS has built-in employee time tracking so your staff can log in and out at the start and end of their shifts. It also tracks tips and employee breaks, giving you the right information to manage your employees better.

You can track individual employee hours, overtime, jobs, pay rates, tip pooling, and other functionality to meet labor and tax law reporting and requirements. You can export all of your employee timesheet information to your payroll software for quick and efficient wage payments. RPower POS also lets you integrate biometric systems like fingerprint scanners for additional security.

Payroll Exports and Integrations

RPower POS lets you extract and export your employee time data into your payroll and salary software. It works with many different payroll providers including Compupay, ADP, Paychex, and others. RPower POS assigns each employee a unique identification number. It then links this number with your payroll provider to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliation, and payments for work completed.

Inventory Control and Tracking

RPower POS integrates with several accounting software packages. This includes ACCPAC, Microsoft Great Plains, MAS 90, and QuickBooks. RPower POS Support and Training

RPower POS has an in-depth training and support section on their website. Their tutorial library features videos and other content designed to walk you through every step of setting up and using the RPower POS system.

Fine dining tutorials are the most numerous on the website and include beginning a new check, ordering cocktails, adding items to an existing check, using ”dup round,” correcting entry errors, using ”hold and fire.”

They also cover many features to do with billing customers and creating checks including printing guest checks, printing a split check, splitting checks, paying checks with cash, paying checks with a credit card, and transferring guest checks.

Nightclub and bar tutorials include using bar tab features, using “dup round,” using house accounts, and cash transactions. Finally, the section on pickup and delivery has tutorials on using caller-id features and the RPower Delivery Dispatcher.

The RPower POS website features an extensive wiki on setting up and supporting the software, including how to setup external integrations with other services and solutions. RPower POS also has an online support center where you can get answers to questions, raise tickets, and get assistance.

Hardware and Accessories

RPower POS offers a range of hardware, including J2 Series or Touch Dynamic workstations.

RPower works with accessories including thermal printers, cash registers, cameras, caller ID systems, coin dispensers, and more.

RPower POS Reviews

Despite extensive searching, we have not been able to find customer reviews of the RPower POS system. The business does have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. There is one complaint made against them on the BBB website, which was a repeat charge to a customer due to a hardware failure. This issue has since been resolved and the customer was satisfied with the response.
