The Hypercom Equinox T4210 is multiple-application ready, allowing you to load modules for value-added applications, including gift cards, loyalty cards, currency conversion, and custom applications. The terminal allows as many applications as there is space in the memory.

In addition to accepting payments, you can process refunds and voids, print duplicate receipts, settle batches, and more. An offline mode allows you to accept payments when the terminal can’t connect to the processor. In offline mode, payments can be accepted as an authorization only, and will be processed when a connection is available.

The T4210 also provides a suite of reports, including audits, summaries by card type, cashier or server reports, tips reports, open tabs, history, and more.

The terminal is rugged, designed to withstand the tough requirements of retail environments. The Hypercom T4210 includes a standard 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Extended warranties may be available for an additional charge.

The Hypercom Equinox T4210 is PCI PTS approved, and features EMV Level 1 and Level II approval. Additionally, the terminal is MasterCard PTSP approved, RoHS compliant, and Interac certified, and includes DUKPT and Triple DES encryption.

Display and Keypad

A bright, backlit screen provides crisp images for maximum visibility in a variety of lighting conditions. Graphics-capable white LED is 160 x 80 pixels. A comfortable ADA-style keypad layout allows easy PIN entering. The keypad features 19 buttons and supports an optional privacy shield for protecting customer’s PIN information at the time of sale. The terminal also has programmable navigation buttons for quick access to commonly used functions.

Size

As a countertop terminal, the Hypercom Equinox T4210 is a convenient size, measuring 8.1" L x 3.6" W x 2.3" H and weighs 1.06 pounds for easy handling.

Memory

The T4210 comes with 8MB of flash memory and 16MB SD-RAM standard, allowing enough room for software updates to keep terminals current and able to handle value-added applications.

Printer

The Hypercom Equinox T4210 features a SureLoad clamshell thermal printer built in, for quick customer receipt printing at 15 lines per second and 384 dots per line. The clamshell printer allows fast paper reloading with a drop-in paper system. Additionally, the printer is graphics-capable, allowing you to print barcodes or logos on customer receipts. Printer accepts standard 2.25" paper rolls up to 50mm in diameter.

Accessories
