The company provides the ability to accept cards in-person using traditional POS systems or countertop terminals, online, or on the road with smartphone or tablet solutions.
You’ll be able to take all major credit and debit cards. Additionally, convenience stores and gas stations can choose to accept fleet cards such as Wright Express.

In addition to payment processing and equipment, Alante offers a gift card program and plans to offer web design services in the near future.
Alante offers two choices for gift cards: digital or physical branded cards. Digital gift cards allow your customers to purchase a “card” and send it directly to the recipient’s phone or email right from your point-of-sale system. You’ll need the Clover Gift Cards app to process digital gift cards from your Clover system.
If you prefer physical gift cards, you can work with Alante to get a card with your logo to sell at your store.
A new feature for 2017, Alante plans to offer website design services featuring pre-made templates and themes, easy online store options, and seamless integration with ecommerce payments for your customers. The service isn’t officially available yet, but Alante expects to roll it out in the beginning of 2017.
Alante offers several choices for credit card processing equipment, including standalone countertop terminals, tablet-based options, and full point of sale systems, including the Clover family of equipment.
Alante offers the full Clover POS Station in addition to the more portable Clover Mobile and Clover Mini systems. The company boasts in-house Clover experts to assist you no matter which model you choose.
The Clover Station is a cloud-based solution that uses a tablet to ring in sales, manage inventory, track employee schedules, and more. You’ll also be able to adjust pricing and menus remotely and add apps that fit your business needs.

The Clover Mini is a smaller, sleek device designed for businesses that don’t need or want a full POS setup. It gives you an option of wifi or Ethernet connections, has a built-in printer, and can accept EMV chip cards. If your customers don’t want paper receipts, you can choose to email or text them a receipt instead.

Despite the name, the Clover Mobile is not actually a smartphone/mobile device reader. Rather, it’s a portable point-of-sale system designed to withstand rougher environments like food trucks, taxis, and tradeshows. The unique design has a stand that doubles as a handgrip for easy carrying. The Mobile includes wifi and 3G capabilities, and can optionally integrate with the full Clover Station or with Clover kitchen printers.

It’s important to note that as of 2017, Clover systems cannot be reprogrammed if you change processors. You will only be able to use it with the company from whom you originally purchase it.

Aside from Clover, Alante Business Solutions offers countertop terminals from several manufacturers, including First Data, Verifone, and PAX. Specific features vary depending on the brand and model you choose, but many machines feature LCD screens, EMV chip card capability, and NFC (contactless payment) capabilities.
In addition to countertop terminals and POS systems, Alante also offers the Clover Go card reader and app for smartphones and tablets. The Clover Go works with both Apple and Android devices and lets you take cards anywhere that you have wifi or cell service.
Alante Business Solutions is PCI compliant and helps your business stay secure with multi-layered security solutions. The company offers a video that discusses the security options through the Clover line of equipment:
You may also be eligible for a liability waiver of up to $100,000 for costs associated with a data breach. Alante doesn’t indicate if it charges PCI compliance fees to assist your business with compliance.

Like many processors, Alante doesn’t publish rates and fees on its website. In most cases, processors don’t post pricing because it changes from one business to the next. Not to worry! You can get a free, no-obligation quote directly through this profile without handing out your contact info to Alante. Try our quote request tool to get started.
If you have questions about pricing after you’ve received quotes, be sure to contact us for assistance.
Unfortunately, the internet is largely silent when it comes to Alante reviews. The company doesn’t have a Better Business Bureau profile, nor does it appear to have any Yelp or Google reviews. On the other hand, it doesn’t appear to be listed on PissedConsumer or Ripoff Report, which is a good start.
Alante does have a Facebook page, but there are no reviews there, either. The company’s website doesn’t provide any customer testimonials.
It’s rare that there’s no review information at all, but it happens. That makes it more important that we hear from businesses that are current or former clients of Alante. Is that you? What did you think of the company’s services, pricing, and customer service? Let us (and other businesses!) know about your experience. Leave a review!
Unlike general web reviews, verified reviews are posted by businesses that have chosen the processor's quote through CardFellow's marketplace, and CardFellow has confirmed with the processor that the business is using its service. Businesses can update verified reviews at any time to ensure the review accurately reflects the processor's performance over time.
Unlike verified reviews which are validated by CardFellow, web reviews can be submitted by anyone viewing this profile. While we validate these reviews as best we can, CardFellow does not verify that a reviewer is using or has used a processor's service.
