99 Merchant Account Fees

As a subscription processor, 99 Merchant Account publishes the costs for subscriptions and the per-transaction fees it charges as its markup. The exact pricing depends on how you?ll take cards, and is listed below. Note that if you need the ability to adjust totals for tips after the card is run, 99 Merchant Account has separate packages (and pricing) for tip adjust capabilities.

In-person (with wired chip card terminal)
This option includes an Ingenico iCT220 credit card machine.

In-person (with wireless chip card terminal)
This option includes an Ingenico iWL250 series credit card machine.

In-person with tip adjustment capability and PIN pad
This option includes a Verifone Vx 520 credit card machine and Vx 805 PIN pad.

Contract and Termination Fees

99 Merchant Account offers a 60 day satisfaction guarantee, claiming that if you?re not happy with your processing within the first 60 days, you can call and close your account. Fees paid are non-refundable, and if you keep the equipment you got, you?ll be charged for it.

After the 60-day trial period ends, you?ll have a 2-year contract with 99 Merchant Account. The contract includes a $99 cancellation fee.

99 Merchant Account Credit Card Processing Services

You can take all major credit and debit cards (including newer EMV chip cards) with 99 Merchant Account. The company has options for in-person, mobile, and online processing, so you?re covered no matter how you want to take cards.

The in-person processing option lets you take credit cards through a secure countertop credit card machine or point-of-sale system. Some packages and equipment allows for more specialized needs, such as the ability to adjust the transaction total to account for tips.

Smartphone/mobile processing options are also available for in-person card acceptance, and can be used with both Android and Apple devices. Tablet in-person processing is available for Android only.

The online processing option includes a secure gateway and hosted payment pages to help you maintain PCI compliance. Additionally, you can set up recurring billing with options to bill different amounts each time or specific days of the month.

You?ll also get social media marketing options included for no additional cost, which includes a customer opt-in loyalty program.

With all of the processing options, you?ll have access to reports that you can download for quick transaction reviews.

Equipment Options

If you need equipment, 99 Merchant Account offers a small selection as part of their processing packages. For countertop credit card machines, you can choose between the Ingenico iCT220 or the wireless Ingenico iWL250. The Verifone Vx 520 is available if you need a device that can allow adjustment for gratuities, and a Vx 805 PIN pad is an option for accepting PIN debit.

The Groovv All-in-One POS system is available for more robust processing needs, while two different mobile reader options (PhoneSwipe and PaymentJack) allow on-the-go processing.
