This review will go over the company’s services, pricing, and customer reviews to give you the full picture of what you can expect if you choose 360 for your credit card processing needs.
360 Payments tries to treat businesses the way that they would want to be treated. The company offers this introduction video:
However you take Payments – online, by phone, or in person – 360 Payments can get you set up to accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You’ll be able to take traditional magnetic strip cards, EMV chip cards, PIN or signature debit, EBT, and checks. Need to set up recurring payments, such as for subscriptions or memberships? You can do that, too.
Additionally, 360 Payments partners with industry-specific software, like Tire Pros and Protractor for automobile businesses.
A good thing about 360’s online payment option is that you’re not limited to a proprietary gateway. You’ll be able to choose from multiple gateways to enable transactions online, including Authorize.Net, USAePay, PayTrace, eProcessing Network, and more. The company does have its own gateway solution – called Velox – which allows developers to take advantage of API resources for integration.
360 also integrates with many popular platforms and shopping carts, including WordPress, Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Zen Cart, Open Cart, and more.
For taking payments on the go, 360 Payments offers a choice of several convenient readers. You can use the Clover Go or Clover Flex, which offer capabilities to accept contactless payments in addition to traditional cards, or you can connect small readers to your smartphone or tablet. 360 offers either the Process Now or SwipeSimple smartphone readers.
If you’re looking for payment processing for a non-profit, 360 can get you set up to accept donations securely. You can choose to add a “donate now” button on your website for easy single donations. Or, if you have recurring donations from members, you can get set up on a repeat donation system.
You may not have heard of Level II or Level III data, and for many businesses, it won’t matter. However, if you take corporate cards or government cards, it’s crucial to know about level II and III in order to secure the best possible pricing. When you take corporate or government cards, you’re expected to provide additional transaction details. Not doing so results in higher costs to accept those cards. 360 Payments can help you get set up to provide the necessary details to achieve those lower costs. Read more about Level II and Level III enhanced data.
For businesses that need access to cash, 360 Payments offers lines or credit or loans to help you meet your financial goals. Lines of credit are available up to $200,000 while loans are available in amounts from $5,000 to $250,000. Loan packages are calculated individually for each business through a short application.
When you work with 360 Payments, you’re not restricted to one credit card terminal. The company can support machines from major manufacturers such as Verifone, Ingenico, Pax, and Clover, including the popular customizable Clover Station. 360 Payments supports the entire line of Clover products, as seen in the screenshot below:
If you’re not sure which system you need, 360 Payments can work with you to help determine the right fit. You can also browse CardFellow’s credit card processing equipment directory to see full, in-depth profiles and reviews of popular equipment.

360 Payments promises no hidden fees, but beyond that doesn’t provide much information on pricing models or contract terms. The company does say that they’ll explain any rates and fees to you in order to promote transparency and ensure you’re getting a good deal.

360 Payments has been accredited with the Better Business Bureau since 2013 and has an A+ rating. The company has only had one formal complaint lodged with the BBB, which alleges that 360 didn’t close a business’ account for many months after cancellation was requested. In a response to the complaint, 360 Payments indicates that they didn’t hear from the business regarding cancellation, and that when they finally did, they cancelled the account and offered a refund of 2 months’ worth of fees as a courtesy.
On Yelp, 360 Payments has several dozen reviews totaling 5 stars. Reviews praise the company’s excellent customer service, fast funding, helpful equipment setup technicians, and lower costs than other processing companies. Reviewers consistently reference being able to call 360 with questions or for assistance, and some mention long-term processing relationships with the company.
The sole 1-star review complains of receiving a non-working machine and being made to continue to pay for it. The reviewer also states that the company doesn’t take responsibility for anything. In response, 360 Payment noted that they don’t have anyone with that name or location in their customer database, casting doubt on the review’s authenticity. 360 asked the reviewer to get in touch for assistance resolving the issue.

Unlike general web reviews, verified reviews are posted by businesses that have chosen the processor's quote through CardFellow's marketplace, and CardFellow has confirmed with the processor that the business is using its service. Businesses can update verified reviews at any time to ensure the review accurately reflects the processor's performance over time.
Unlike verified reviews which are validated by CardFellow, web reviews can be submitted by anyone viewing this profile. While we validate these reviews as best we can, CardFellow does not verify that a reviewer is using or has used a processor's service.

They are top notch. I've dealt with other processors and if you have any problems they are very slow to respond, if at all. 360 Payments is always on the ball and amazing. Many times the issue is on my end, yet they are very helpful and clear. Customer service is second to none, oh, and their rates are great.

I don't deal with the rates and fees but we just started using 360 Payments and the customer service is top notch. I spoke with a very friendly woman named Felicia who helped answer my questions. Not only did she answer my questions but she was very personable and followed up with a phone call. Thank you!

Working with 360 has been absolutely great. They saved us significant money over our longtime processor First Data, and moreover their service is top notch. I wish all of our vendors and partners were as responsive and results driven as the team at 360 Payments. What really counts is how someone treats you after the sale, and these folks are A+.
